Street box cameras, or Cámara Minutera in Spanish, are usually built by photographers using old lenses and other recyclable materials.

This is my case too.

Basically, it is made of plywood, an old Compur lens, and many things I found around to decorate and finish it.

Below are photos of the process.

If you want to build your own camera, contact me for advice; however, I also recommend looking at the Afghan Box Camera Project, where you can find many resources, videos, and blueprints to help you start your camera.
