Street Box Camera Photography Services
The street box camera, cámara minutera, or kamra-e-foree, is the camera our parents and grandparents used to see at parks, fairs, and many outdoor events. It is all-in-one: a camera and a darkroom in one.
Box Camera Portraits at Risca Studio (NP11)
A half and hour studio: 2 portraits (5 x 7 inches), plus a high-resolution scan.
A £30 deposit is required to hold/schedule your time slot, and it will be applied to your final session fee.
- 2 5×7 inches photographic paper – £60.-
- Additional images: £ 25.-
Important: Each image does not need to be of yourself only. For example, you can bring your partner and have a portrait of yourself, one of your partner, and one of both of you.
First, we will take the photo on paper; that will actually be the “negative” of your final image. Then, using the same camera, we will photograph the negative to create the final image.
If you’d like, you can take the negative home too.
