1958 Silette Automatic is a 35mm film viewfinder camera made by Agfa and introduced in 1958. It belongs to the long-lasting Silette series. A development of Agfa Silette SL with a match needle readout on top and in the finder. Announced as Silette SLE, the name was immediately changed to Silette Automatic. It has a Bright frame finder, Color-Solinar 50mm f/2.8 lens and, Prontor SLK shutter. It was an improvement over the Silette SL camera by featuring a bright-line viewfinder and the meter reading visible inside the finder and on top. The camera body was metal and finished in chrome and leather covering. It was fitted with a Color Solinar 2.8/50mm and the shutter is the Prontor SLK shutter.
